Glen Gerber
After I graduated I worked at Cashway Lumber for 2 years. I was drafted into the Army in June
of 1965 and served two years of duty. I was in Germany for 18 months. I was discharged in
May of 1967.
I was hired at Republic Steel in June of 1967. I worked there for 32 years and about 7 different
name changes.
I have been married for 36 years. Patty and I have three children; Vanessa, Jody and Heather. I
have four grandchildren.
Our daughter Heather lives in Canada so we cross the border quite often.
I do a little farming on the side. I have eight beef cattle.
