After graduation I started at Greer Steel and worked there until I enlisted in the Navy in 1965.  I served for three years.  When my enlistment was up I returned to Dover and went back to work at Greer.  I met my wife Linda Gibbs and we were married in Aug. of 1969.  We have two beautiful daughters; Shannon and Kimberly.  Shannon graduated from Kent State in 1994; she is married to Keith Owens.  They have one daughter, Harper Owens (age15).  Kim graduated from Kent State in 1998.  She is married to Jamie Gray; their daughter is Alexandra Gray (age10).  Kim and Jamie live a block away from us.  Keith and Shannon are in Medina, so we see all of them often. I retired from Greer, these days I keep myself busy working 1-2 days a week at Auto Zone and tinkering around in my own garage.  I’ve always loved cars and I restored a 1957 Chevy that we enjoy taking out for a drive and to car shows. We love vacationing with our kids and granddaughters.  This usually involves water, whether it’s a river in Canada, a lake in Kentucky, or at the ocean.  I am lucky to have a great family! I’m healthy, busy and life is good!
