After graduation I graduated from Muskingum College and then The Ohio State College of Law in 1969.  Met wife Carol at Muskingum and we got married in 1967.  Had son Andy in 1971 and daughter Kate in 1976.  Practiced law in Akron for 1 years and then was an Assistant Summit County Prosecutor for 2 years and have been in my current firm in Wadsworth since 1972.  Have had a lot of trial work over the years and served as President of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers in 1984.  I have been on the Wadsworth City School Board for 23 1/2 years and been President 9 of those years. Credit my training as DHS Class of 62 President for my office on school board.  I have served as Chairman of the Wadsworth Hospital and am currently Chair of the Summa Barberton and Wadsworth Hospitals and am a member of the Summa Health System Board.  I am sure the involvement in Summa is a direct result of my training as a Medic in the USAR with the 350th Evac Hospital in Canton from 69-75 where I was the company clerk aka "Radar Riley".
